A Boston Marathon bombing survivor has died in a car accident in Dubai.

Victoria McGrath, 23, from Connecticut was only five feet away from the first bomb when it exploded during the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013.

Her leg was badly injured but she survived the tragic incident after a former US Army officer used a T-shirt to tie a tourniquet on her leg and a firefighter carried her to a medical tent.
